Nanga Parbat meaning the naked mountain is one of the most auspicious peaks in the world. It is 8125 meters high, second highest in Pakistan and 9th highest in the world. Famous for its three faces Rupal, Diamer and Raikot it is one of the most challenging mountains to climb. The Rupal face is the tallest wall in the world, a sheer 4500 meters cliff. This monstrous mountain has claimed so many lives that it has gained the name Killer Mountain. At one time the numbers of casualties were highest as compared to any other mountain in the world. We will cross Mazeno pass at 5399 meters using ropes that are attached to the slopes. This 21 day trek will take your breath away.

3 Hours Before Flight Time
Islamabad is a calm and beautiful city. Spend the afternoon eating lunch at the local cuisines and exploring the colorful markets. Reserve the evening to witness the beauty of Islamabad from daman-e-koh. We spend the night in the hotel.
It is a long journey to Chilas from Islamabad through Karakoram highway and Indus gorges. We make stops at the ancient town of Taxila and the splendid hill station of Abbottabad. We cross the Thakot Bridge after crossing Besham, Dassu, Komila and Shatilal to reach Chilas.
We continue north along the river Indus to have the first view of Nanga Parbat. Later we separate from Indus and drive by a spectacular ravine on the adventurous runways over Astor into the mountain village of Tarshing at 2900 meters. We will have an awesome view of the highest steep wall on earth that is the Rupal face of Nanga Parbat. We spend the night in tents.
We trek from Tarshing to Herrligkoffer base camp at 3500 meters. We reach the base of enormous Rupal flank witness the beauty of Nanga Parbat closely. Tonight we camp directly below the Rupal face.
Enjoy the beautiful views of Nanga Parbat while crossing the green pastures of Shaigiri at 3660 meters. We spend the night in tents.
Today is a rest day to regain the lost energies and prepare for the further trek. Have a trip towards the Rupal peak and travel through the green pastures of Shaigiri. We spend the night in tents.
We trek to the Mazeno Base Camp at 4200 meters. Have a magnificent view of the Toshain peak and the impressive rugged summits and glacier of this group of mountains. We spend the night in tents.
We trek for about 5 hours on the on the steep slopes of Mazeno pass. The Mazeno glacier is covered in debris and we travel through the Mazeno pass at 4700 meters. We reach Mazeno High Camp tiered and hungry and spend the night in a tent after supper.
We start early to reach the crossing of High Mazeno pass which is the highest point of this journey at 5377 meters. It is 5 hour journey from our camp on Mazeno glacier to the pass. We cross the pass and climb down to the foot of the pass that leads to our camp at Loiba. We spend the night in tents.
Lower Loiba also known as Loiba Meadows is our next destination. We trek for about 6 hours at 3350 meters and walk through the lush green meadows and trees to reach our camp at Lower Loiba. We camp overnight.
We keep going down the mountain until the Upper Jale valley at 2750 meters. We again start climbing up to Ser at 2900 meters. This 4 hour long trek will take us to our campsite at Ser. We spend the night in tents.
We trek through the birch and pine trees over the lower Kachal and reach Kutgali. Have a stunning view of Nanga Parbat on the way and we camp overnight at Kutgali.
We will have a day trip to the base camp at Nanga Parbat on Diamer side. The lands are decorated with beautiful meadows of flowers. We will return to the camp by the evening and spend the night in tents at Kutgali.
We continue circling the Nanga Parbat and walk through the steep slopes and pastures of Kut-gali pass. We keep walking further to reach Kuru Sagar where we camp for the night.
We reach Ghutum Sagar at 4150 meters after 8 hours of trek and spend the night in tents.
We climb for the summit of the Jiliper peak at 5206 meters. We rejoice the spectacular view of the Raikot face of Nanga Parbat from here. Then will continue towards the Jiliper pass and reach the Beyal Camp to spend the night.
We will trek up to 4000 meters the historic base camp of the old German expeditions of 1932 and 1953 then descend to the Fairy Meadows. We choose a wooden hut to stay or spend the night in tents.
Today is the rest day to explore the wilderness. We sleep as per the last night’s choice.
We descend through a jeep to Chilas and spend the night in a hotel.
We travel back to Islamabad through the Karakoram highway.
